I’ve been following Jo and Pete’s wedding countdown since their engagement last summer and they were so super excited about their wedding day. It was so sweet to see a weekly update from this excited pair, I couldn’t have been happier photographing their day for them. Their ceremony was at Audacious church and they later went on home with their immediate family to carry on the celebrations.

Epic Lockdown Wedding | Alison and Tom, The Gamekeepers Inn, Thresfield

Alison and Tom are one of my many Covid couples who decided after much uumming and aaaring and watching the daily covid news updates to go ahead anyway. They had their original date on 19th December 2020 at The Gamekeepers Inn in Thresfield. It was an epic lockdown wedding, they had the same stunning barn-esk wedding room with those funky bar lights you see in Cities and just a we are doing it anyway vibe. Good for them! Everyone who wasn’t able to come was on zoom for the ceremony and during the speeches the best man, Tom’s younger bro played guests heart felt messages. As they were dressed up at home and with Ali and Tom in spirit on their day.

I’m very lucky to have had Dunham Massey on my doorstep, especially during a lockdown. From the stunning lake, beautiful gardens and deer park its an idilic spot for an engagement shoot.

Relaxed Couple Portraits

I’d found so many amazing spots for engagement photography so whilst lockdown restrictions were imminent Becky and Andy wanted to book their pre-wedding shoot, Dunham Massey was the go-to location. They were due to be married at so Dunham Massey was the perfect location to practice. These two were just adorable. We chatted about their wedding plans, their Cockapoo and of course their love of dogs.

I’ll be photographing their wedding next year, which I’m so excited about. It’s not what we imagined happening but after their engagement shoot, this was the proof that a pandemic won’t get in the way…love wins!

Hey there!

Welcome to my new look website. Congratulations on your recent engagement, I can’t wait to here about where it happened.

I am a wedding photographer based in Cheshire but covering all of the UK and abroad. I love a good elopement somewhere far away. I also love the British and Welsh countryside for both your engagement shoot and wedding day. Nothing beats the gorgeous lush greenery this land has to offer.

I love photographing people in love and thrive in documentary situations whether that be a good wedding or family portrait shoot. Love makes the world go round and to rely solely on memories seems too whimsy for me. I want the comfort of knowing its caught on camera and I have those memories forever more.
